We are making a difference to the lives and careers of musicians.

Story

For the first time since 1947 there will be no concerts in Edinburgh this August. We have invited musicians to join in creating a virtual performance of Beethoven’s “Ode to Joy” as a symbol of our solidarity with musicians and audiences around the world and a sign of hope that we will welcome them to Edinburgh next year.

This will be launched in August and we will be using it to raise money for Help Musicians, a charity which provides support for musicians at times of crisis and which has been providing hardship funding during the Coronavirus situation.

Please donate the amount you might have spent to attend a concert or show in August and we can directly support musicians impacted by the loss of work due to the cancellation of the festivals.
