I'm going to be fundraising for Caritas Anchor House, which provides accommodation and support to people affected by homelessness, mental health, substance abuse, domestic abuse and offending in Newham. Newham has the highest rates of homelessness in Britain - 1 in 25, 13,607 people. This is a figure that keeps growing - homelessness in Newham has increased by 1,361 from 2016 to 2017.
Just £10 gives a resident a hot meal a day for a week. £50 can provide a resident with a support worker!
