Since 2002 Kidscan has been working to support research into new treatments for children with cancer. Kidscan work alongside scientists, funding research into drug treatment and support programs designed with children in mind. This charity has already had much success and their scientists are currently developing treatments which are more effective and less damaging to the bodies of children and young adults.

This is why I have decided to take part in YUSU Jailbreak 2017. We are are only allowed 30 hours, £0 of our own money and our whit to get as far away from the University of York campus as possible. In previous years teams have got as far away as Istanbul, a feat that we aim to challenge! We also aim to raise awareness of Kidscan and the incredible work it does.
