On the 14th June 2017 the word cancer broke our hearts as it has many. The strongest woman that I and many people know was diagnosed with stage 2/3 breast cancer. Many obstacles we have faced however we have faced as a family, each step we have taken in this nightmare we have taken together sharing our strength. 

Jackie has had so much support from friends since being diagnosed including friends that have or are experiencing this terrible illness.

Jackie has undergone 2 operations and is currently at the beginning of a long road starting with chemotherapy then radiotherapy taking her through to next year.

Jackie is an amazing woman who isn't willing to let cancer beat her, an amazing woman who will not break and an amazing woman who will be one step ahead of this awful illness

Jackie has decided to be positive towards losing her hair and is having her head shaved to raise money, If everyone who knows Jackie donated £1.00 I am sure we could raise an absolute fortune, everyone knows She makes friends everywhere she goes!

Jackie would like to donate to ‘Three Wishes’ registered charity at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh of which cancer care is one of the funds and the one Jackie has decided to donate to, as they have been great support.

There is a CAN in CANcer together we CAN beat it! 

The Mission of Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Hospital Charity - Three Wishes, is to further improve the quality of patient care through the improvement of services, purchasing of medical equipment and enhancing the patient environment and experience. Within the 'Three Wishes Charity', there are the 'Big Eight Funds' - Patient Wish / Children and Babies / Women's / Heart and Lungs / Cancer Care / Fertility / Minds and Memories / Wrightington. This allows our amazing supporters to donate or fundraise to the area of their choice.
