Hello Everyone!
Well it's done and I want to thank everyone for their support and help. It was a wonderful evening and raised lots of funds for the Hospice which was great.
Any one who is up for a challenge should contact St Rocco's. You will have a great time.
Thanks Again
Liz
I think most people who know me are aware that I am a Strictly Come Dancing fan. Autumn would not be the same without the Saturday night show and my weekly fix of It Takes Two! So I am honoured to have been asked by St Rocco's Hospice Warrington to dance (with a professional dancer!) at Strictly St Rocco's this year.
First a little about St Rocco's Hospice Warrington. An inspirational place that provides high quality care for adults within the Warrington area living with a terminal or life-limiting illness. As a specialist palliative unit they have ten inpatient beds and provide a whole range of services including medical outpatient clinics, complementary therapies, counselling, therapeutic activities and physio. With only a third of funding coming from the government it is vital that the local community support them to ensure they can continue to provide a high level of care and support.
I went to Strictly St Rocco's evening last year and was moved by how hard everyone works to ensure this hospice is a fabulous and positive place that can look after people at their time of greatest need.
Strictly St Rocco's a great charity evening of 10 novice dancers doing their moves with 10 professional dancers. Lots of sparkle, great outfits and spray tans! I am working hard at my lessons with my partner Phil a 5 times British National Champion no less.
I am asking everyone I know to dig deep and sponsor me for this great charity. I promise to work extremely hard and raise as much as I can for this great charity.
