My Beautiful dear mother lost her life this September after a server Asthma attack that took her away from us too soon. I don't think Asthma is viewed as that life threatening every 10 seconds someone is having potentially a life threatening asthma attack. Now the thought of running 26 miles as an asthmatic is scary but loosing my mum was the hardest thing I ever had to do, so I embrace this Marathon with open arms to raise awareness and hope so that other sufferers and grieving family members aren't alone. I want to run in memory of my beautiful mother and raise awareness of Asthma and support a cause so close to my heart.
Also I have suffered from Asthma all my life being hospitalized on several occasions with a condition many don't consider dangerous or life threatening. I have decided to help raise much needed funds for Asthma UK as a thank you for supporting sufferers of the condition like me and my loved ones. I will be training for the next year keeping my Asthma under check ready to run the London Marathon. I have taken on the monumental challenge of raising £1,800 so any donation is gratefully received.
I hope you can join me on my journey - You can follow my progress over on my blog to find out more ellamasters.co.uk
