Story
LOROS is a charity extremely close to my heart both personally and professionally. Back in 2006, my Grandad Harry passed away at LOROS followed by my Granny Gloria in 2015, both tragically taken from us way too soon due to Cancer. The service and care that LOROS provided for Harry and Gloria was incredible, giving them the love and compassion that they deserved. Fast forwards another 6 years and I am now working at LOROS as Marketing and Communications Co-ordinator. Working for a charity that provided such amazing care for my family means so much to me and therefore I can't wait to raise money and help to support such a wonderful Hospice. All donations make a significant difference to those receiving care at LOROS, both families and patients.
At LOROS we strive to deliver high-quality, compassionate care and support to terminally ill adult patients, their family and carers. Our brave team of Skydivers are aiming to raise over £20,000 in order to support the hospice. The funds will help us to run our 31-bed inpatient ward and facilitate our nurse led Day Therapy Unit. Each Skydiver has pledged to raise as much as they can for LOROS by taking a leap of faith from 14,000ft, if that's something that you wouldn't do then support them by hitting the donate button now. If you think its easy then sign up and join them!
