Story

Letchworth based Ellis Mason have pledged to make 2017 their year to support the Happy Days Children's Charity which helps vulnerable, disadvantaged children.

And they are now asking businesses in the area to take a
leap into the unknown with them as they are arranging a high-flying skydive.

The event, planned for later in the summer, will crown a
year in which the recruitment agency, along with a number of their clients, have gone the extra mile to support young people.

Commenting on their work with the charity, Luke Mason,
Director of Ellis Mason said: “We are incredibly proud to be supporting Happy Days Children’s Charity and are delighted that all funds raised are going to young people in the North Herts area.

“Ellis Mason has seen success quickly because we understand
our local community, we recognise quality and we listen and act accordingly to our clients and candidates needs. We have used this understanding to target this charity as it is so effective at getting help where it is needed to young people in the area.”

Happy Days Children’s Charity works to give courageous
children coping with adversity memorable holidays, special days and magical experiences. The fundraising so far from Ellis Mason has seen one local youngster enjoy a holiday to Centerparcs and the next challenge for the team is to raise money for 156 disadvantaged children from Letchworth and Stevenage to enjoy a visit to the theatre.

Explaining why they chose a skydive as their next
fundraising venture Luke said: “We believe that if we are asking people to sponsor us then we need to do something that is challenging and that is worthy of the sponsorship. We are asking for people to give their hard-earned money to the charity and for that we feel that we should have to work hard to earn it.

“A sky dive is something that none of us want to do and
therefore we are pushing our own limits – sky high! Quite honestly, I feel
physically sick when I think about it but then I think about the joy that we can bring to the children, even for an hour and it makes it all worthwhile.

“We have already mentioned the sky dive to a number of our
clients and they want to help and jump with us, so we are going to pay for the jump and the clients involved will be kindly helping us to fundraise. We are an agency which believes in pushing limits and thinking outside of the box to provide solutions for candidates and clients - this event will 100% be pushing our limits, we will be jumping outside of that box and most importantly fundraising for a greatly deserving cause”.

Ellis Mason are flying high and are fast becoming ‘the home
of great candidates’ in Hertfordshire.
