I'm 27 and I have CF. I'm thankful in that I seem to have a milder form of the illness and was only diagnosed at 22. Since that diagnosis staying 100% compliant with treatment is really tough. It's nearly impossible to always be 100%.
In the hope to motivate myself and others with CF, alongside raising funds for the CF Trust I have set myself this 1 month challenge to commit to 100%, which for me is 3 nebulizers a day, Creon(tablets) with all food, lots of vitamins and physiotherapy twice a day. It may not seem hard but for me this is a huge challenge and hopefully this will also set me up in a more solid treatment regime
I also have a blog that centres on raising awareness and funds for CF:
Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-limiting genetic condition affecting more than 10,000 people across the UK. It affects the lungs and digestive system and can cause chronic infections and reduced lung function. Currently, half of those with CF will not live past age 41.The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is fighting for a brighter future for people with CF and their families by funding cutting-edge research, driving up standards of care and supporting people with the condition and their loved ones every step of the way.
