10 years of fundraising for the Jane Tomlinson Appeal

London Marathon 2018 · 22 April 2018 ·
Ten years ago I ran the London Marathon. This was to become the first in annual challenges I set myself in order to raise money for the Jane Tomlinson Appeal.
In 2006 I had read "The Luxury of Time" by Jane & Mike Tomlinson and got an insight to the incredible woman and her wonderful family. Jane sadly died in September 2007 so when I found I had a place in the Marathon I knew I wanted to run as part of her legacy, keeping the name of this inspiring woman alive, and raising money that would go to children's and cancer charities.
Ten years have passed and I will, on 22 April 2018, be back on that London Marathon start line. My fundraising target is set to hit £30,000 raised in total over those ten years - thanks to YOUR generousity. If you've supported me before or supported me every year or this is your first time - I so appreciate it. I may do the running, but it is YOUR money that makes the difference. So please, dig deep. Let's do this.
And the official bit: Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
