Story

Hi everyone

Hi my name is Max (short for Maximus). Me and my mate Sheru are
guard dogs, specially trained to work with the forest rangers in India to combat evil poachers, who kill tigers and leopards to sell their body parts on the black market. We are proving our worth already as a fighting force but we can’t do this on our own, however sharp our teeth are! We and Tiger Awareness really need your help.

We are sponsored by people who love wildlife and want to make a real difference on the ground. I was sponsored as a puppy  by the
Leuw family. Once we are trained and clothed the Indian Forestry Commission takes over responsibility for our food and vet bills.  For a new member to join our team, a puppy costs £1,000 and the 9 month training is a further £2300 plus we need some clothing. You can't fight naked :). We need our protective vests (£450 each).

On 8th December Emma and Martin Leuw are organising a #GoWild4Wildlife event at the David Lloyd in Finchley where the raffle will be dedicated to raising money for more members to join our little army. Both that and donations to this JustGiving appeal will make a world of difference to save tigers from extinction.

How about helping sponsor a dog for Christmas, Chanukah or Divali?

Thank you for your support.

Love and doggy hugs.

Max and Sheru x
