The Challenge : Ride from Redhill , around Isle Wright and back....

You have all been here with me before so you know the drill!!  I'm unprepared and have done no training BUT with enthusiasm a plenty, to support this local charity, that is very close to my heart,  I will endure 2 days (4/5th June) of an achy backside to raise awareness and money for this invaluable community resource. 

Tom is now 21, clubs/support he was able to access have always been hard to find and this has become even more so now he is older. The YMCA provides a safe, fun, caring space for children / adults with disabilities and there families to access sport, social groups and develop independent skills to help them reach their potential.

I appreciate this year has been tough for many but having had all of Toms support withdrawn for the majority of the last year it has made me really appreciate how invaluable places like the YMCA are. They give enrichment and purpose to all but especially to adults like Tom who without it would not be able to access his wider community or social groups and continue to have the smile on his face you all know.

So....please if you can forgo a Costa (never a glass of wine:-) but donate a few quid to me and the YMCA big big virtual hugs and THANK YOU.
