We buy cutting edge medical equipment to benefit patients in Hampshire

Story

As many of you know I walk every weekend with Lorraine Major and Tina Devereux (2 hours of girly therapy and exercise )

Both these two gorgeous ladies had breast cancer last year. Both work Basingstoke Hospital where they were treated and both needed radiotherapy after their surgery which takes multiple visits over the few weeks following the operation.

On the  9th June we are all walking from Winchester Hospital to Basingstoke Hospital 26 miles to raise money for a piece of equipment that will allow radiotherapy to be administered when the patient is under the knife, hence removing the need for continued treatment post operation. We are trying to raise £45,000.

Please support this cause. Breast cancer is indiscriminate and finding ways to minimise the need for regular hospital appointments and treatment will make the patients recovery time much easier

Thank you Emma Scowen
