Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I have been lucky enough to have got a place in the 2018 London Marathon and I have decided to raise money for Diabetes UK. Many will know that I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes aged 8 and since then both my family and I have been supported by the charity. I feel so grateful to be in the position I am now, with a happy, healthy little girl of my own and now it is time for a challenge!  I have been given this opportunity to both raise the profile of Diabetes UK and to complete this massive personal challenge; one that I have always wanted to do. I know that there is still a long way to go and the charity needs all the support it can get in order to keep improving the lives of children and adults with diabetes. So please dig deep and help me on my way round those long 26.2 miles and support this very worthwhile cause

Thank you xxx
