CBRE Dolomites challenge · 22 June 2023

CBRE are proud to partner Macmillan Cancer Support. 1 in 2 people will receive a cancer diagnosis in their lifetime, so our partnership is more important than ever, to help Macmillan do whatever it takes to support people living with cancer.

Story

This is the 13th year of the charity ride, and 2023 sees a combined team of 70 employees and clients head to the Dolomites for a tough but scenic challenge! Departing on the 21st June we will undertake a challenging 5 day / 11,150 m climb / 600km ride across territory covered in numerous Giro iterations over the decades, including many of the famous Giro and Maratona climbs including the iconic (and gruelling) Sella Ronda, Valorola and Muro del Poggio. (A 1km “wall” of 14%!)

Please donate what you can, the ride is self funded, so every penny you donate, including gift aid, will go to the charity.

Living with cancer can be devastating at the best of times, but even harder as a result of the recent pandemic. At Macmillan, we talk to people affected by cancer every day and for many, issues with money and mental health such as stress and depression, are their biggest worry. Donations raised will help Macmillan develop their telephone, online and virtual support services and to help thousands more people with much needed financial and emotional support. The CBRE partnership is going to be more important than ever before, to help Macmillan do whatever it takes to support every single person living with cancer. Cancer is not going anywhere. And neither can Macmillan.Join us in supporting Macmillan, so they can keep providing financial and emotional support to the millions of people that count on them.

The corporate charity partners this year are; Ghelamco, Nuveen, Tristan and Pictet. These partners are adding to the donations by sponsoring the event, all of which is going to the charity.
