Story

Hi, this is Emmy(age 11)

I am currently on lock down (as we all are) and reading about Malala Yousafzai and how she was so driven to do good in the world. I also just watched Captain Tom Moore walk 100 laps of his garden for the COVID-19 charity. I want to do something good for others too.

I have decided to set myself the challenge of rowing across the full distance (22miles)of the English channel using a rower in my garage. I will then cycle back the same distance on my bike. I will do this when I can go out for my hour exercise each day. I will cover the full 44 miles in 5 days between Monday 27th April and  Friday 1st May 2020.

Please will you help me by sponsoring me to complete this challenge and raise some money for my local hospital and the NHS heroes that work there.

Thank you.
