Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 9 April I will be running the Madrid half and on 22 April 2018 I will be running the 42km to the London marathon finish line in memory of my grandmothers. Both my grandmothers (like most grandmothers) were very special and inspirational women to me, and I lost them both in 2017. One of my grandmothers was visually impaired and I have chosen to run for Sense as a cause that honours her memory and will help to improve the lives of others that suffer from similar conditions.
Sense is a charity that does hugely important work for those who suffer from sensory impairments and helps them enjoy more independent lives. They help people in need and create opportunities for them to take part in activities that the rest of us often take for granted, while also finding ways to support them to enjoy time with their family and friends.
I will be training hard over the next 6 months and depriving myself of most things sweet to achieve my goal of completing the London marathon. If you would like to support me and this cause please donate now (any amount welcome - every little helps!) :)
