We fund research to stop prostate cancer killing men

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit the Essex Police Men’s Forum JustGiving page.

1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer. If you’re over 50, or you’re black, or your dad or brother had it, you’re at even higher risk.

Prostate cancer is not always life-threatening. But when it is, the earlier you catch it the more likely it is to be cured.

Every 45 minutes, a man in the UK dies from this disease and we want to support Prostate Cancer UK to help men with prostate cancer to get better diagnosis, better treatment and better support.

That’s why we’re running the March For Men challenge throughout March 2022. The challenge is to carry out 45 minutes of physical exercise every day throughout the month of March; whether it’s running, cycling, CrossFit or simply a long walk, get involved and clock up the miles to support this great cause.
