October 1997, 2 months before I was born, my grandfather passed away. He said he would give up alcohol for me, but it was too late and the damage was done. Alcoholism ruins families and it ruins lives, and I don't want anyone to have to go through these problems.

I'm 24 days into my Dry January, and frankly, I feel healthier for it. I am asking anyone to donate anything towards this fundraiser for Alcohol Concern, a charity that helps to reduce the harm caused by alcohol. The target says £1500 but I didn't set that, every little helps.
