Last year, me and my friends gamed for 30 hours straight and raised a staggering £700 for Macmillan Cancer Support, and this year we want to do it again, and make it bigger and better! This year it'll be me, Ben, Nic, Jack, and some special guests (aka other friends who have lives and can't commit to 24 hours) playing a whole range of video games! The work that Macmillan does is invaluable to so many people, and I have heard a lot of stories from family and friends who have been helped by Macmillan, so I am so happy to be able to support them doing something I love. (Basically haha mum who's saying video games are a waste of time now?!)

Last year, thanks to the tremendous generosity of so many people we managed to raise just over £700, and people who saw last year's campaign will know that I increased the length of the stream when we hit our fundraising targets, and this year is no different! This time around we won't be going as crazy but want to offer an incentive to raise as much money as possible, so if we beat last year's total (£700.33) the time will be upped to 27 hours, and if we hold the top spot of Game Hero fundraisers on the official website for at least 24 hours as well as hit our target, we'll match last year's time of a whopping 30 hours!
