Story

The school staff are participating in the Milford Hospice Virtual 10km Run/Walk over the weekend in memory of our Fifth Year student, Shaun Hilmi, who sadly passed away on Saturday, 2nd January 2021 after a brave fight against Ewings Sarcoma Cancer.
Shaun was a student in Fifth year and an integral part of our school community. Shaun was a quiet and unassuming young man and a credit to his family. Throughout his time at St.Joseph's CBS Nenagh, he always gave his full attention to any activity he was involved in - from his schoolwork to his athletics and much more.
Shaun was a dedicated and committed student and an accomplished athlete. Shaun was also a wonderful singer and contributed to numerous school events over the years.
We are delighted to be joining together in this combined act, in Shaun’s memory, while we all still remain apart.
Students and their families are encouraged to get out for a walk or a run this weekend in Shaun’s memory too.
May Shaun Rest in Peace 💙
