I needed to find the motivation again to put my running shoes on, and there is nothing better than a race to give you motivation.

As that wasn't enough motivating...well running to raise money for charity is even more so. By donating you'll help raising money for CLIC Sargent, an amazing charity that helps children with cancer. 

My goal is to beat last year's performance {51mins 45secs}, and run the half-marathon in Bournemouth in October. SCARY!

If this is not enough, I may share with you the embarassing photos of my race - just like the priceless one of last year.

Just some background info: why have I chosen to run for CLIC?

I have experience with cancer in my family. Going through such a difficult path a couple of years made me realise how important it is to have the right support, and people around you. I hope my dad will be proud of me, for putting the running shoes on for him once again. This is my personal way to tell him that I am always thinking of him, no matter the distance.
