10 members from Fine & Country are taking part in the Estate Agent's 10km run on the 4th June on behalf of the Fine & Country Foundation. The run is organised by Housing for Women, a charity which focuses upon helping vulnerable women who are homeless or on the verge of becoming homeless.

The run is taking place in Regent's Park and all proceeds will be donated to Housing for Women. This is the second consecutive year we have taken part in the Estate Agent's 10km run. Last year we raised £1,200 but we are confident that this year will be an even bigger success with your help.

The Fine & Country Foundation has been created to help combat one of the largest social issues in the UK – homelessness. Last year, the Government estimated around 2,414 people sleep on the street on any one night across England, a rise of 36% over three years. Often the reasons for homelessness are misunderstood, with many blaming the individuals for poor life decisions and carelessness. The reality is: people become homeless for a whole range of complex and overlapping reasons that cannot be avoided, such as family breakdowns, mental or physical health problems or debts. Solving homelessness does not only involve putting a roof over people’s heads, it is also trying to tackle the root of the problem and asking the question: why did they became homeless in the first place? The Fine & Country Foundation is dedicated to bringing together all Fine & Country agents in over 300 locations worldwide to raise awareness of the causes of homelessness whilst supporting homeless charities.
