Last year Angus's cello teacher Eleanor Brown died from cancer. You may remember him fundraising in her memory last year: he ran the Great North Mini Run. He as never forgotten her and has always said that he wants to continue to raise funds to help support those with cancer and to support those working to cure it.Consequently, Angus will again be running in this year's Great North Mini run on September 14th.
Last year Isla watched him taking part and wanted to know why she couldn't run too: Because you are only two, Isla. You need to be three to run in the race. On her third birthday Isla announced that now she was three, she can run too and help people get better. She has mentioned it repeatedly and "trains" as well (jogging down the pavement sometimes!) and has alloacted some holey leggings as "running clothes!" Sadly we haven't managed to get Isla into the Great North run so she will be running in Glasgow instead on October 5th.
Please support these two lovely young people in their small but sincere campaign to help those with cancer.
