Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

It’s so important to not forget the thousands of children throughout the world that never get a chance to really laugh and play. Basically what children should be doing. Wars all over the world displace so many people we tend to not be aware that the children are displaced too. Not able to cope with the emotional stresses brought on by conflict, many children forget to be youthful and happy.

I’m doing this to show that adults are allowed to be silly and have fun. Life is too short and precious to be worried the ego and negativity that surrounds us everyday. We have a duty to show kids, wherever you are, that it’s ok to have fun. It’s ok to dress up and make strangers smile.

If you can’t make a child smile today, try tomorrow.

All monies raised will go directly to support The Flying Seagull Project, who’s mission statement is:

To spread laughter to every corner of the earth. To make the arts accessible to all. To enhance the lives of underprivileged children through creative activities. To challenge and improve the use of music and sensory activities for people with disabilities in Romania and elsewhere. To create opportunities for communities to celebrate. To help create positive memories. http://www.theflyingseagullproject.com/
