When my son Jake was born in 2005 he spent his first 11 months in hospital. The majority of those 11 months he was connected to a ventilator as he had severe respiratory issues. The outlook looked bleak but as I sat and slept daily by his bedside I prayed and dreamt that one day I would be able to take him to a football match. Fortunately as my son got older and stronger his health improved and despite him having numerous operations 4 years ago he was well
enough for me to take him to his first football match. He absolutely loved it and my dream that I had all those years ago became a reality and FootieWithDad was born!

Unfortunately there are many children who are not as lucky as Jake and are unable to go to a Football match. We want to raise money to get as many underprivileged children as we can to Football matches. For so many of us we take this amazing emotion for granted but for these children these amazing memories will last them a lifetime!
