William was born in Hong Kong on the 2nd April 2001

Our beautiful boy had a happy childhood but struggled with anxiety and depression as he entered his teens and sadly took his own life on the 2nd August 2017

Having been touched by this tragedy we have become acutely aware of how suicide and suicidal thoughts can impact upon young lives and devastate families.

Suicide is the biggest killer of young people (male and female) under the age of 35 in the UK 

Our love for Will burns bright and as a family we must learn to live with our loss however we truly hope that Will's death helps to contribute in some small way to making positive change by educating and raising awareness and preventing further loss of young lives

Papyrus is recognised as the UK's national charity for the prevention of young suicide and we are therefore asking our family and friends around the world to donate to this worthy cause

Your contribution - any contribution - ensures William's death will not have been in vain
