Thanks for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page created in honour of Alan Pickering, who sadly passed away aged 56 due to complications from his testicular cancer.

To quote the Chairman of It's On The Ball:

"Alan was always willing to share his story publicly in order to raise awareness of the disease in the hope that it would prevent others from having to travel the path he had to.

Alan maintained a positive attitude and good humour throughout his treatment which has been an inspiration to us all. In his words, he was determined to, “nail the little bugger this time”, which sums up his spirit, but alas it was not to be."
