Football to Amsterdam 2021
Campaign by PROSTATE CANCER UK (RCN 1005541 and in Scotland (SC039332))
Leave your rivalries on the pitch and help stop prostate cancer being a killer. Football to Amsterdam is your chance to change the game for men everywhere, by cycling virtually to Amsterdam from Sheffield or London.

Story

Amongst other events I’m taking part in Football to Amsterdam. Usually a 2 day bike ride to the Dutch capital. However we are adding an extra day in because why not.

So myself and a team of NFFC supporters are setting off from the world famous City Ground in Nottingham, calling in at Sheffield and Hull and totalling 220 miles when we finally roll up to the home of Ajax at the end of day three.

Most importantly we’ll be putting football rivalries aside to tackle prostate cancer once and for all. Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men. It’s a disease which kills one man every 45 minutes – that’s two men during a football match. But Prostate Cancer UK know that we can turn it around. Their aim is to make this a disease the next generation need not fear.
