Form 1A and 1B are extremely excited about raising money to build a water tank for children in Africa! The 10,000 litre water tank that we hope to build will collect and store water when it rains, rather that it simply falling from the sky and disappearing into the ground.
To raise this money we will be attempting to walk for 2 miles around Clapham Common. This is roughly half the distance that many children in Africa walk everyday to get water.
Miss Emma has chosen this small charity because it is personal to her and the results of the money raised by the us will go directly to building the water tank (and not get lost in the system).
If we raise the money and the water tank is built then the Henry van Straubenzee Memorial Fund have agreed to place a granite plaque next to the tank acknowledging the girls in Form 1 and our school.

Love Form 1A and Form 1B.
