Story

 Fortune Works' Walking Group Challenge

On Saturday 2nd of August a hardy bunch of Fortune Works service users and staff will be completing a 9 mile sponsored walk from Fortune Works to Dumbarton. The aim of this event is to raise funds for our walking group so they can purchase suitable clothing and equipment for the members of the group.

Fortune Works empowers people with learning disabilities to develop the skills to become more independent whilst making an active contribution to their local community through social enterprise and regeneration of the local environment.

There are a whole host of projects and activities that encourage people to get involved and learn new skills. Our walking group is all about getting out into the community and learning more about health and well being.

It is testament to the independent spirit of Fortune Works that members of the group have chosen to do something proactive to raise their own funds for the additional resources they need.

Please give what you can to help raise as much as possible!!!
