Story
Two years ago, my husband Ben was diagnosed with Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma, a rare type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma. After a year of chemo, one autologous cell transplant and nine months of immunotherapy, he is currently recovering from his second stem-cell transplant - thanks to the mighty NHS and Royal Marsden team ( and of course, his brother's cell donation. Thanks Chris! )
On May 26th, I'm walking 26 miles along the South Downs in aid of the Royal Marsden. I was planning a nice quiet day out with a flask of tea & a radio 4 podcast, but then my incredible, amazing & supportive pals got wind of this and now we're all going.
