At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Sn septermber 9th 2012 myself and my little sisters (aged 13 and 15) are participating in the Lincoln Memory walk in aid of raising money for the Alzheimers society. In december last year our dad was diagnosed with Alzheimers at the age of 50!!

we would like to raise £100 for this cause and would be very grateful for your support. Any amount small or large will be gratefully recieved by the Alzheimers society and can be put toward making a huge difference to the lives of people with dementia, to fund research, and provide vital support to people with dementia and their carers.

There are only a small proportion of people under the age of 60 diagnosed with Alzheimers and it is these young people who have the least support.

we are therefore walking 4 miles in aid of the Alzheimers society!
