Ralph and Frank Land celebrated their 82nd Birthday on 24th October. They took the opportunity to commemorate the life of Jacqueline Ralph's wife who died from  pancreatic cancer just one year ago. As a special birthday event they successfully undertook  what for them is a novel activity - a Skydive for charity at the London Parachute School, at Lewknor in Oxfordshire on their birthday. They are using the occasion to appeal for donations from their friends and acquaintances for Cancer Research, which by a special arrangement with Cancer Research UK, all donations received will be used to help pancreatic cancer research.  Any donation is welcome. Today (October 28th) our many friends have helped  us reach our ambitous revised target of £7,500 and the donations received todate have climbed to over £10,000.  . But please do not let reaching the target deter further donations. Perhaps, with your help, £12,500 can be reached.  We would like to thank all those who have contributed for their kind words and generous support.
