Thank you for looking at my page! I've signed up to do the Marathon for Mind, and for the big one (26.2 miles of big to be precise!) I've written a bit more about why in the hope that you'll get on board with supporting me....

A lot of you who know me, know that I while ago I lost the most important person in my life, my beautiful mum. It was completely unexpected and it was without a doubt the worst time in my life. I spent a long time being very sad, more than sad, I was depressed and struggling with panic attacks - but honestly, I don't think many people would have ever known the extent. Even at this shit time I still didn't feel like I was able to speak openly about how bad things were for me and can quite clearly remember telling everyone I was fine. 

Luckily for me, I was put in touch with the right people at the right time. I truly wouldn't be here, or be the person I am today without those people - offering chats, support and generally making me feel like I wasn't completely lost. 

So, I am going to attempt to run this insane distance in memory of my mum and as a thank you to Mind ❤ and if you could donate whatever you can it would mean the absolute world.

Even now some days are still a struggle; sometimes it's just for a moment, sometimes longer. Mental health is incredibly important and it effects so many more people than you might realise, and I feel very proud to be supporting a charity that means so much to me.

Also, if anyone fancies a trip to London on 28th April, pleeeeeeeease do 1) to make sure Mark and the boys make it to the right place, and 2) because I'll need all the supporting faces I can get on the way round!!
