Last year our friend and colleague Alex tragically ended her life. Alex was an incredibly talented, spirited and beautiful young artist (her self-portrait is featured on the poster). In memory of Alex, we (some members of her foundation class at City Lit - 2014) have got together to raise awareness and funds for mental health issues. We will be holding an exhibition of our work, and a public Art auction where money raised will be donated to the charity Maytree. Please do come and support us at the Mental Wealth Festival at City Lit from 12th-14th September, where the wider programme will have something for everyone.
