Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Nick and Jason will be running the London Marathon 2010 as Fred and Wilma Flintstone in order to raise money for Barnardo's. As part of our training and in an effort to raise as much money as possible you can see Fred and Wilma at the Henley Half Marathon the Reading Half Marathon and The Bath Half Marathon. A HUGE thank you to all of you who sponsored Nick last year. He raised £5,500 which was so gratefully received by Barnardo's and a big sorry to those of you that thought this would be a one off !!! Barnardo's is a charity that believes in children, that they deserve a chance, whoever they are, whatever that have done or been through and this is a charity close to both our hearts. Check out where your money would be going at www.barnardos.com. This year Jason and Nick have a target of just £6000 between them that they hope to raise with a mixture of special events and private donation. Watch this space for more details of fundraising events. Please feel free to give generously and early as this will spur us on in our training . As the winter nights get darker and colder we will be taking on a huge personal challenge to be ready for the Marathon and we hope that you will support us but more importantly Barnardo's. Keep watching this space, the half marathons, the local paper and the news you never know where Fred and Wilma might appear next !!!!!Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
