At FreeAgent, we believe you need to take care of your mental health as you would your physical health. It is how each of us experience the world and, yet, in comparison to physical wellbeing, still so little in known about it and how to prevent ill mental health.

Often, mental and physical health go hand in hand - that's why we've challenged our team to a virtual relay race to raise awareness of mental health challenges and support, as well as raise funds for the wonderful mental health charity, Tiny Changes, in memory of our much-missed colleague Elliot Gracie.

Through the month of October, our team will be split into relay teams - passing on the virtual baton with a sweaty selfie upon completion of their phase. Whether they walk, roll, jog or run, each team member will complete whatever distance they choose to tackle; all while raising the awareness of mental health and hopefully bettering their own in the process.

Scott Hutchison, singer in the band Frightened Rabbit, died by suicide in May 2018. Since then, his family have been campaigning to improve mental health amongst children and young people in Scotland.Tiny Changes (SC049112) aims to further that cause by funding projects and events that support affected people and advance research, and also by raising awareness and influencing policy.There is a crisis in young people's mental health in Scotland and it is getting worse.
