We fund research to stop prostate cancer killing men

Story

I’m taking part in Football to Amsterdam, a two day, 145-mile pedal pilgrimage to the Dutch capital backed by the EFL and the League Managers Association.

I have decided to take part in the challenge to get me back out on my bike, loose weight, get fitter and raise funds against cancer. This butt was just getting bigger and time to do something about it.

I'm hoping to contribute regular updates, progress with training, weight loss and general thoughts about the ride along the way, maybe even the odd photo or too.

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men. It’s a disease which kills one man every 45 minutes – that’s two men during a football match.
This is simply not acceptable but Prostate Cancer UK know that with your help we can turn it around. Time is against us but now is the time to take action, to make this a disease the next generation need not fear.
