We offer hope to families to transform the lives of sick children

Charity Registration No. 1149254 In Scotland SC042611

Story

Johnny broke his neck while attempting a backward somersault on a garden trampoline at the home of a friend in 2011 when he was 16.

“I landed at an awkward angle,” he said.

“I thought I was safe with the nets around the edge, but it was a false reality and I snapped my neck.”

He is now paralysed from the chest down, with limited movement in his hands.

Johnny has 24 hour care and undergoes weekly specialist neurological rehabilitation at Neurokinex in Watford in order to keep him fit. He needs help to continue with his weekly sessions at Neurokinex which cost £120 a week, amounting to over £6000 a year.
