The staff at Furn Contracts are taking part in the Nuclear Blackout event on 8^th September 2018 to raise money for Mesothelioma UK Charitable Trust a

Nuclear Blackout is 5km multi-lap obstacle loaded night race & the only mud run in the world with a 4 storey, underground nuclear bunker obstacle.

All employees will be taking part in fancy dress, our theme is superheroes.

We will be aiming to complete the course in under 2 hours.

This race will launch us out of our comfort zones.

It will lead us into unknown territories, testing all our senses to the maximum as we negotiate endless & overwhelming obstacles by the light of a headtorch.

This course is designed to challenge some basic fears including darkness & heights as well as testing strength, endurance, agility, stamina & all-round fitness in the harshest conditions & over the toughest obstacles.

Determination focus and a powerful mindset will be needed to endure Nuclear’ s night time challenge in the mud.

Starting at sunset, this lap race moves quickly from dusk light into total darkness.
