Forever Hounds Trust

We work tirelessly across the country to rescue & rehome greyhounds & lurchers.

Charity Registration No. 1131399

Story

We'd already signed up to run the half marathon, but when we suddenly lost Feliz in January we thought it would be a great opportunity to raise funds for a brilliant charity.

Feliz was a great dog and while brief, we wouldn't change the time we had with him for the world. We loved him very much.

But we'd never have even met him if it wasn't for Forever Hounds Trust. That's because Feliz was fortunate enough to fall into their care after his racing career finished.

In 2017 over 1,000 dogs were put to sleep in the UK because of injuries suffered while racing, or a lack of available homes. The really worrying thing is many more are abandoned or killed without ever making it as far as the track. It's hard to know how many because of a lack of proper regulation.

Please give what you can to help this charity care for, and rehome, more of these wonderful animals.

PS on the off-chance you're considering getting a dog, please think about saving a greyhound!
