Story
We at GamingReel have decided to use our powers of being stunningly average at games and test our might over 24 hours of pure video games joy!
There will be tears, laughter, general ruckus’ and of course we will strive to #ShowTheLength throughout this special event.
All in aid of Gameblast17, we are asking our fellow gamers out there to donate and help us raise some money for SpecialEffect.
To do that, we need your support, and GR has assembled our team of Scott, Stuart and Liam to entertain, delight and conquer with our 24 video games marathon.
And to add to the fun, we have some special donation milestones lined up, so the more you donate, the more we do!

$50 – Scott gives a beautiful rendition of Aaron Neville
$150 – Chilli chocolate roulette
$250 – We will spend the rest of the steam in a surprise daft attire!
$350 – The GamingReel Street Fighter V sock-hand online challenge.
$500 – Surprise game giveaway!!! – The person who hits/breaks 500 mark wins!
$750 – Hot pepper challenge (Including one extra sadistic spiked pepper… who will be the lucky recipient?)
$1000 – Scott presents Shot Roulette!
$1500 – Surprise member bleaches hair… who will it be?
The marathon will be broadcast LIVE on Twitch http://www.twitch.tv/gaming_reel from 8am on Saturday 25 February, and finish at 8am the following Sunday.
We have lined up some of the best games and challenges over the 24 hours. Our full programme of titles and when you can tune in is below:
Games programme
Diablo 3 – 8am (Hardcore, if yer character is deed, he’s deed challenge)
DOOM – 11am – (Nightmare arcade challenge)
Hitman – 1pm (Ultimate assassin run challenge)
Overwatch – 2pm (WINSTON ONLY CHALLENGE)
Street Fighter V – 4pm (Get to 2000 points online)
For Honor – 7pm (Challenge – TBC)
Nioh – 9pm (Challenge – TBC)
Resident Evil 7 (VR and Standard) – Midnight (Shite yer pants, no lights
on challenge)
Rocket League – 3am (Savlon challenge)
Overwatch/Street Fighter V – 4am
Dark Souls 3 – 5am (Speedrun, death relay challenge)
8am – Marathon complete!
