This October, get together and play the games you love, to fundraise for Dementia UK and help provide more dementia specialist Admiral Nurses.

Story

Dementia is a devastating disorder that, sadly, is going to touch most of us in some way. With excellent care and treatment dementia sufferers and their loved ones can get the best experience possible and we'd like to do what we can to raise some funds to help in even a small way.

As a group of board game enthusiasts we are perfectly placed to help out through Dementia UK's Raise Your Game fundraising event.

Let's do what we can to make this a success and, who knows, maybe it will become an annual event and part of our group calendar.

Make a donation of whatever you can afford. Play games of Carcassonne with friends and family throughout October. Play any version of the game, even app and online - solo if you like - and post a picture of your game to our Lincoln Board Games Group Facebook page and tell us your scores.

We'll give a trophy to the person with the highest score logged throughout the month! Post as many pictures and scores as you like.

If you don't like or don't own Carcassonne please consider giving a donation anyway - you don't have to play to donate :-)
