Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I hope to raise awareness and funds for SPICA-WARRIOR.

This is the only charity in the UK dedicated to helping families of children with DDH(Developmental Dysplasia of the Hip)

If you are unsure of what this means, basically a child is born with a "clicky" hip where the hip joint doesn't quite fit properly. To correct this they have to wear a SPICA cast which supports the child from the chest down to the legs thereby stopping any movement in the hips.

I will be 49 years old when I start this epic journey. I'm not the fittest bloke you will ever meet and I will be cycling approximately 200 miles over 4 days from Birmingham to London using the towpaths of The Grand Union Canal encompassing the 4 arms that shoot off from it at Northampton, Aylesbury, Wendover and  Slough.

The ride will start on Monday 12th September, 2016 and should be completed on Thursday 15th
