Story
In memory of my late Dad, Alan Clews, who suffered kidney problems for the latter part of his life, I will be taking part in 2 events in 2021 and 2022, to raise funds and awareness for Kidney Research UK.
The first, is the Manchester Marathon in October 2021. I try and run regularly, but with my longest run to date being just over 9 miles, a lot of winter training is going to be required to be able to complete 26 miles.
My second is ride2barcelona 2022. Along with 35 other riders, I will be be cycling 852 miles in 8 days, from Silverstone in the UK, to Barcelona in Spain. Taking on the Pyrenees en-route, this is going to be a tough challenge, even more so having (hopefully) completed a marathon 4 weeks prior. For more info visit ride2.co.uk
