Thanks for taking the time to visit my just giving page
Hello everyone, here I go again! Another London Marathon is upon us and I have been fortunate enough to get a place so I thought I’d run for charity – cant waste it! This time preparation has been an issue – I have been very short of time what with another Afghanistan tour, moving house, a new job and time away in a winter environment (training in the snow is a challenge!). So this gives you all the chance to enjoy a PTI suffering doing a physical event for a change – and I suspect the 13th Apr will be a very tough day out! I am raising funds and awareness for the ‘Support our Soldiers’ charity who I saw do tremendous work when I was on tour improving the moral of Military people serving on Operations by providing tastes of home in comfy boxes. They are not limited to this kind of work and involve themselves in the more difficult aspects of service life including providing essentials to those hurt while on operations or assisting families adjusting to life with an injured loved one. Having just had their 10th anniversary they are trying to raise funds to support Regional Rehabilitation Units that continue the outstanding work started at Headley Court rehabilitating injured colleagues.
So what am I going to do to earn your cash???? The 13th April is London Marathon Day and for me – torture day! So what do you think? Has to worth a few quid for a good cause – right? Hopefully your agreeing and rushing for your credit card – thanks! Not got the time? Please use your phone and text. Whatever you can give would be very welcome.
Please remember to leave a message with your donations. Make them funny, personal, inspirational, supportive or even full of banter but do make one as I’ll read them to inspire me through the training and of course the brutal day pounding the streets of London!!!
Thanks for your support
