Hi welcome to the GB solo marathon, i will be running a marathon from Huddersfield Royal Infirmary to Old Trafford football stadium on Sunday the 18th June



Raising money to buy important equipment for Ward 14. I proudly work at the hospital and for the incredible institution that is the NHS.

I see the doctors, nurses and staff working hard with kindess and care everyday, all year round, i would like to help them purchase a bladder scanner that they have told me about and really need to make life easier for the ward and the patients.

Personally i've ran marathons for years but unfortunately suffered a mini stroke last year, permenantly losing the vision in one eye, upon tests it was discovered i also have a hole in my heart and early stage dementia, not the best news for a someone that lives to run.

So the challenge for me is to run another marathon before i lose vision all together and or go doolaly ! ! Some say i always was...
