In 2012 I ran my first marathon in memory of my Dad, who passed away in 2010. When I signed up to the challenge I didn't realise the impact the Marathon would have on my life - every opportunity in the months leading up to the Marathon was taken up by training and preparing myself and then after the race I struggled to even move for a few days! Despite this the feeling crossing the finishing line knowing you have worked very hard in order to help those less fortunate is worth it. I was very proud of myself, so here I am doing it once again for another great cause even though I know what I am letting myself in for!

Donations help Great Ormond Street hospital in many ways, for instance £100 could pay for 10 nights accomodation for one of their parent accommodation homes so poorly children can have their parents close by, £360 could pay for three flowmeters, helping to regulate the flow of oxygen to babies and children and £798 could pay for a wheelchair and its accessories. So anything I can raise that can contribute to any of these would mean such a lot to help pooly children and babies get the help they need to get better.

I hope that you can help me raise as much as possible for this amazing charity, helping Great Ormond Street help sick children and their familes, every penny helps so please no matter how small please can you help me.

I am taking part in both the half and full Brighton marathons with just 13 weeks to go before the big one! Running 26.2 miles is not an easy task - believe me I know this now but I am looking forward to doing it again knowing it's all to help others, especially when I know I have the support of everyone!
