Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The fundraising income of Rockinghorse has been severely depleted by the cancellation of many fundraising events including the Brighton and London Marathons. And yet, children are still getting sick and with Covid-19 the Royal Alex Children's Hospital needs our help more than ever.

Emergency funding is needed for 3 Covid-19 related projects: these are - a portable lung function machine (children with cystic fibrosis are particularly at risk), parent camp beds (for wards) and additional mental health support for in patience at Chalk Hill Mental Health Unit in Haywards Heath.

We love running and because the Brighton Marathon and 10km have been postponed we are doing a family Relay to cover the 26.2 miles. The run will comply with all distancing guidelines and will start and finish from our house in Costa del Saltdean-  we aim to raise a lot of money for Rockinghorse so please please donate if you can. We would also love it if other families did the same - Rockinghorse does amazing work so let's help them now.
